Nicole Lawton

Nicole Lawton

Hello my name is Nicole Lawton and I have always had a passion for dancing. It started when my mom had me in jazz and tap when I was really young. However, ballet folklorico was when I truly fell in love with dance. I had danced ballet folklorico for about 6 years and about most of it was with Federico!  After I spent time focusing on my swimming and school I felt like it was time to get back into dancing. However, I wanted to try something new and that is when I stumble upon bachata in January 2018. it blew my mind away and feel even more in love with dance! I danced as much as I could and bachata became my new obsession. After spending about 1.5 years goes by I learned a lot about bachata. I am thankful for the opportunity to share my knowledge! There's always room to improve, but sharing the love of dancing is one of my dreams!

Kimi

Kimi

My name is Kimi, the instructor of the next, cutting-edge dance fitness of “World of dance U-Jam Fitness.”  This type of urban dance fitness combines dance and high energy music as I guide you through the various levels of dance fitness workout difficulty with choreography that grooves with the music.

I was born and raised in Japan. In a culture full of healthytraditional diets and exercise, I live by daily exercise of keeping my body moving with a balanced diet to keep my energy high. I was inspired to dance when I did Jazz Dance for 5 years and 2 years for instructor, also Classic Ballet for 2 years under my belt. The artistic value of ballet and the smooth Jazz really captured my heart for how beautiful and exhilarating dancing could be with their genre of music. My passion only grows when I moved to America and tried Zumba. So that was when dancing and fitness was my calling. For 3 years Zumba has taught me how to dance with many genres of music to where I became certified for a year. Then U-Jam came along with its urban dance fitness for a year and half where I worked hard to become the next instructor to unite my U-Jam family.

I strive to unite all people of music-lovers and dancers of all experiences from the first-timers to beyond. All cultural music of Latin, hip-hop, Bollywood, worldbeats, etc. are used to fulfill a diverse group of people’s tastes. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the music with the workout that is bound to get your heart rate up, your body moving, and make you sweat.

As they say that people have so much fun that they do not even realize that they are working out.

So let’s dance to the beat of our hearts!
